The Bracket Buster Workout Challenge

Must read

So you are filling out your NCAA hoops bracket with your friends or co-workers. You may have some money on the line, or are doing one for fun online to see how you do against the rest of America. How about putting a little fitness on the line as well?

Try an exercise routine that’s based on the winners and losers that your picked correctly or incorrectly. Here’s how it works: You’ve picked a certain seeded team to win or lose. If that team wins, you perform a specified exercise for a certain number of reps; if they lose, you perform that exercise BUT, as a slight punishment for picking wrong, the reps are higher. You will perform an exercise for each game that is played, win or lose. So 16 exercises circuited after day 1 and day 2.

In round 2, you will circuit through the 8 exercises 2 times. Round 3, it’s 4 exercises 3 times. Round 4, it’s 2 exercises 4 times through. Round 5 is 2 exercises 5 times, and Round 5 (Championship Game) it’s 1 exercise 6 times. So if you don’t have a team in the championship game, it’s 6 sets of 20 Burpees. Ouch! For any game that you don’t have either team in the game, the exercise is 20 Burpees. The exercise routine should be performed the day after the games. The schedule looks like this:
